How DM Alekse runs games
I tend to be big into roleplay and combat. I love describing how your arrow spun in a perfect spiral, laser focused on the Mage at the back of the group. The tip nicks the face of the hobgoblin between you, and for a moment you think the arrow might be knocked off its path. The arrow stays true and looks as if it will take the caster right between the eyes. Just as you start to celebrate, he smirks and raises a hand, calling a wall of force to block your attack!
