About me

I've been playing D&D for almost a year now and have been hooked since the beginning. Almost instantly I was appointed the forever DM by my friend group and have been working towards becoming a better DM ever since! I just recently started using the StartPlaying platform and have been hosting a game using Foundry for some friends. I have a HUGE passion for D&D and hope to help spread that passion to other enthusiasts!

GM Style

When I'm the dungeon master I like to be hands-on and thorough. I put in lots of time preparing to make sure I really get the feel of the world we're playing in. Also, I'm all about collaborating with each player to make their characters fit seamlessly into the game's universe. We chat a lot, brainstorming to give life to their characters and figuring out cool ways to tie them into the main storyline. It could be delving into the unique bond between a Warlock and their Patron, exploring the divine connection of a Cleric or Paladin to their chosen deity, or throwing in a wild twist like a long-lost evil twin showing up to snatch the family heirloom. I'm also a big fan of creating custom items, abilities, and spells with players to highlight the awesomeness of their characters. In battles, I aim for a balance between quick action and fun, steering clear of tedious stuff that can drag down the game. My top priority is ensuring that each player's character has a significant role to play in achieving the party's goals. These stakes tie back to the characters, making sure D&D is a blast, just like it was meant to be.
