About me

Hi! I've been running games for over four years now and am always looking for groups to run campaigns for. Trying to get groups together locally can be like herding cats, so I figured I'd take it online instead! Table Top RPGs are like no other game, it's like a shared story where the GM sets up the world stage, and the players fill it in with their choices and actions. I love the group think creativity of it all. It's like creating a kick-ass cinematic movie that you'd like to see. I love to run more sci-fi/horror-based RPGS and have experience in running Delta Green, Alien RPG, Vaesen, Vampire - the Masquerade, Ten Candles, Tales From the Loop, and Mork Borg. I also like fantasy-based stuff as well such as The One Ring, Symbaroum, and of course, D&D 5E. In the realm of D&D, I have a large library of pre-written modules at my disposal.

GM Style

I am a pretty benevolent GM unless you try to start bending the world rules to a ridiculous/unreasonable degree. The other players will mutiny you if you hold up a game arguing with the GM over whether or not a magical life-saving bazooka should appear around the corner. Part of the fun of role-playing is not knowing the outcome - this means that there will and should be an amount of risk to the life and health of your characters. I try to let the players solve and resolve problems and puzzles on their own without god-like intervention unless they have exhausted every possible thread. It's not fun or heroic to have someone else fix it for you. I think it's infinitely more fun if players ( and myself) can get into character and live and breathe their roles - just don't ask me to do accents, unless you love having your ears bleed! The immersion that comes with playing your part (*cough* role-playing) becomes more tangible and the whole point of these things is to escape reality and live a second life, to a degree. This doesn't mean I won't have loads of great mysteries, enemy encounters, dungeon crawls, and traps thrown at you. Some players enjoy more dungeon crawls and less talky talky. Any type of play style that the players bring with them I will be happy to accommodate.
