About me

Hey everyone! I'm a newer DM to 5e (although not new to TTRPGs) and I want to run occasional oneshots, usually for $5 and geared toward beginners and level 1 characters. I'm a 21-year-old college student majoring in vehicle and transportation design. I did game art for a Minnesota studio up until recently for almost a year and a half, so I always offer free art, tokens, and other hand-drawn digital fun. I also love mapmaking, so you can always expect exciting battle-maps! I’ve been DMing on and off for three years, although I typically don’t run D&D 5e. I’ve DM’d a “Tales from the Loop” party for almost two years with biweekly meetings, and am comfortable with setting up weekly campaigns long-term.

GM Style

I’m definitely someone who focuses more on interesting scenarios and events to put the players into rather than storytelling details like geopolitical factions or overarching plot. My goal is to make sure everyone has fun, and I’ll be looser with the rules to achieve that end. I’m extremely thorough with my campaigns and usually have extensive prep beforehand, but I don’t mind when players go off the rails and I’m capable of improvising if need be. Generally I’m pretty free-range when it comes to the players, but I do try to guide them back to the main story if things go haywire for too long. I like to focus on campaigns involving problem-solving, puzzles, mysteries, and convincing roleplay.
