About me

hi my name is Neil and I’ve been playing dnd since freshman year of highschool, so about 6 years. Since then I’ve been in love with dnd and being a Dungeon master, when I heard I could make a beloved hobby of mine something to do professionally I got really excited to play with new people and teach new players all about the game. As a dungeon master I try and give my players a safe and exciting experience with lots of patience and help for new players. I like to keep up good momentum and not get bogged down by notes or nitpicking rules, I keep things fair and fun and full of energy.

GM style

I do voices, and love roleplay, I try to do most combat in theater of the mind, but for complicated or tricky encounters I bust out roll 20 to keep things understandable. I know the rules pretty well, but stopping the game to look things up can sometimes slow things down. it’s my philosophy that the rule of cool, is better than rules as written and whatever make the game more fun is probably more important than what the books say.
