About Heimdahlr
Greetings! I am a GM and adventure writer steeped in history and fiction with 20+ years of gaming experience with the majority of that in and out of the GM chair. I offer mostly 5e games on Talespire, many of which I have written myself or built the maps for. I love gaming and try to bring everything I love about it into my games. I enjoy crafting stories and adventures tailored to the players as well as their characters. I lean toward a grittier style, with emphasis on immersion.

How Heimdahlr runs games
I try to shoot for a roughly balanced approach between the three pillars of play, Exploration, Social interaction, and Combat, though I am flexible with my group's preferences. I like to bring a certain amount of realism to my games to help lend a little magic and awe to the abilities, skills, and ACTUAL magic the characters are capable of. My goal is for everyone to have fun in my games, but what keeps me coming back to the GM seat is when my stories and the events in my games leave such an impression on my players that they bring them up even years later. Epic tales make the best memories.
