About Jamie
Hello there! I'm Jamie,I've been playing in tabletops since I was 15, during which I've been DM on and off, and played various different systems, from the ever popular D&D 5e to some more niche games like Shadowrun. I enjoy giving my players the room to develop the characters that they create, from bringing in their backstories into the running story to making their choices of advancement feel grounded on the character's self. The games will take place using foundry-vtt as a platform, with discord for voice. This includes background music, sheet importing from DND beyond, proper maps, both official and self crafted, and access to me as a DM for hashing out doubts, backstories, and any other issue that might pop up both inside and outside of sessions.

How Jamie runs games
I enjoy a mostly equal mixture of exploration, combat, and roleplay, although I do admit that in practice I tend to lean towards the roleplay end of things, as that links into what I personally enjoy the most, which is seeing player develop their characters around what's happening to them. I tend to be relaxed about things most of the time, as I don't particularly enjoy losing time discussing which rules apply in which situation, disagreements over such can be solved outside of sessions with an interim ruling during the session in which the disagreement first started. I also enjoy giving players context about things via text, and encourage them to also do text roleplay between themselves between sessions.
