I'm a big fan of all things whimsical and grand! Adventure Time, Studio Ghibli films, Netflix's Castlevania series. I'm also a big horror movie buff, with the SAW movies being some of my favorite soap operas (IYKYK) of all time.
My favorite system of all Time is
GURPS! GURPS my beloved. As much as I play D&D 5e and love it dearly, I cannot get over how much I enjoy the in-depth mechanics of GURPS.
How Law runs games
I would describe my style as full immersion and character-oriented. I very much believe that D&D is a game about individual characters coming together as a group to tell a compelling story, and I love focusing on the aspects of those unique characters, as well as their interlocking dynamics. I like to create challenging character arcs and help develop out as much of a character’s identity for my players as possible to grant maximum player agency. I very much believe in the idea of focusing on the fun agent of the game, and allowing players to come up with non-orthodox ways to use spells or abilities to accomplish tasks. My focus when it comes to tales is developing epic and large scale stories that creates contrast between the size of the setting and players. I want my players like to feel their actions have consequences, both large and small.
