About Everett the Overthinker

Hello Players! I'm Everett! I started playing Dungeons and Dragons with my brothers when we were kids. I was a terrible DM and we did not have fun, but it started me on the path of learning how to be the best DM I can be. I've watched the greats in action, studied writing for novels or screen, taken acting classes, and am happy to bring out an accent from time to time. I am flexible in my storytelling and will always try to say "Yes, and..." Looking forward to many entertaining adventures together in whatever world we choose!

How Everett the Overthinker runs games

I GM for content and enjoyment. Playing and running are a synergy of planning and on-the-fly improvisation and a player group who is willing to be co-operatively creative in pursuit of the best moments and outcomes is always a treat! I like in-character roleplay, I try to craft unique tactical encounters and I will always try to create a memorable host of NPCs for you to love or hate. I'm equally happy running a goofy one-shot as a serious campaign but always try to bring an air of whimsey or the strange to any adventure. My role models are Brennan Lee Mulligan and Anthony Birch.
