About me

I've been running distance games for many years, mostly asynchronously via email (and before that in the early '90s- posts on Compuserve and AOL forums). Recently I've moved to synchronous distance gaming via Google Chat, which I've found to be a useful, intuitive, and (best of all) free method of bringing distance gaming to a new audience. I would love to be YOUR Distance Game Master!

GM Style

I try to strike a balance between combat and role-playing. Each player deserves a chance to shine, and their characters deserve a starring turn on the stage; so I try to bring players and their characters in rotation, letting everyone be the center of attention for a while. My adventures tend to be character centered, with plot and story being emergent phenomena of the interaction with the characters and their gameworld environment, not an imposed top down storyline.
