About me
I work in a creative industry and enjoy the challenge of dreaming up collaborative stories and memorable NPCs in my off hours. I’m here to have fun together. Putting on my corporate hat: as a passionate professional, my goal is to manifest bespoke player-centered experiences of unparalleled quality. I’m also chill and like to trade memes in the Discord server with my players in between sessions. I have been playing and running roleplaying games for over 20 years - tabletop, virtual and LARP. My favorite color is the Fifth Element’s “Super Green.”
GM Style
Your touchstones, retainers and mawlas won't sit in a cupboard while I railroad you through the metaplot. They will be integral. That mustache twirling one dot enemy? You better believe they're showing up. Whatever skills you invest in will be crucial. Have an academics specialty in Etruscan pottery? I dare you. Etruscan pottery heists and auctions will show up in game. There are no Methuselahs under the city (boring!) and no fetch quests for the Prince (been there, got the t-shirt.) Puzzles will tend to be of the murder mystery and intrigue variety. Not interested in puzzles? That's OK, the serial killer will call from inside the house in Act 3. Roll your combat pool. Combat will lean towards tactical vs. brute force. Such as: "Oh bother, the Anarchs are ramming us with a snow plow." The chronicle is dark, but not edgelord dark. 2xp per session with occasional bonus xp. There are over 80 NPCs at present that you can choose to pursue or ignore. It’s a Chicago by Night-type experience but mysterious because you can’t read all the stats and plots in an online corebook.
