About Kylor
I’ve been playing tabletop RPGs for about 8 years, with the last 5 spent mainly as a DM. Most of my experience is with D&D 5e, especially longer campaigns that focus heavily on story, character growth, exploration, and challenging combat. I really enjoy building worlds that feel alive and reactive to the players. I like giving players meaningful choices and creating moments that feel memorable both in and out of combat. My games usually lean toward a more immersive and cinematic style, with a mix of serious storytelling, roleplay, mystery, and tense encounters. I also spend a lot of time creating homebrew content, custom mechanics, and original settings to make each campaign feel unique. A lot of my inspiration comes from darker fantasy settings and character-driven stories. Whether you’re completely new to tabletop games or have years of experience, I try to make my table welcoming, engaging, and fun for everyone involved.

When I'm not running games I'm...
I’m a pretty outdoorsy guy and spend a lot of my free time riding dirt bikes, hunting, fishing, camping, and doing just about anything that gets me outside. When I’m not outdoors, I’m usually playing single-player games or working on worldbuilding and campaigns for D&D.
How Kylor runs games
Players in my games can expect a strong focus on immersion, meaningful choices, and a world that reacts to their actions. I like running campaigns where roleplay matters just as much as combat, and where character backstories can become major parts of the story. My games usually have a darker fantasy tone with cinematic moments, difficult decisions, mystery, exploration, and high-stakes combat. Combat encounters are challenging and tactical without feeling unfair, and I try to make every fight feel important rather than just filler between story beats. I also use a good amount of homebrew content, including custom mechanics, monsters, items, and worldbuilding, to help each campaign feel unique. Exploration and travel are a big part of many of my games, and I enjoy making the world feel alive through factions, rumors, politics, and consequences that carry throughout the campaign. Most importantly, I want players to feel invested in both the party and the world around them. I try to create a table where everyone has opportunities to shine, contribute to the story, and create memorable moments together.
