About Jonathan
6 years ago myself and a few friends wanted to play DnD but we didn't know any DMs. So I bought the starter pack and ran games myself. Those first few games were confusing, and a ton of fun. Since them I've met more people in the community and played with a variety of different players and GMs. My favorite part of DnD is player choice. I love to put an open ended problem in front of the party to see the creative plans they make. The outcomes of these plans usually always affect the world around them, for better or for worse.

Jon is a phenomenal DM! I have not played since I was young with my dad on 2.5e, and Jon made it extremely easy for me to pick it back up in no time allowing for me to ask questions when needed. He builds out his world well, allows for some homebrew if discussed beforehand; he essentially wants it to not only to be fun for the players, but also for himself too! If you are looking for a DM to have a lot of fun with to enjoy some roleplay and have intense fights, then stop looking any further!

Honestly I loved the subtle questions of world building for my character that was provided. and the Preprepped world lore for us to indulge on so we can make a awesome character for the setting.

Jonathan is an amazing DM. I was drawn in by his interesting way of laying down a story and illustrating challenges. He breathes life into NPCs and enemies and keeps encounters dynamic. He even makes amazing maps and has a unique way of making sure combat remains interesting and challenging with reasonable risk. He's hilarious and loves cats! Highly recommended.

How Jonathan runs games
I run sandbox games with large central story and many smaller adventures seeded throughout the world. My session can feature mostly combat, or no combat depending on what the players decide to do.
