About me

I'm on board with multiple editions of the game, and have clocked several years in 1E, 2E, 3rd & Currently 5E. Star Frontiers & Starfinder have recently been of interest, I've enjoyed my almost 500 hours of experiences on Roll20 / Discord for the most part. I've only recently jumped back into the GM chair for some games, doing player stuff is awesome but I really enjoyed the world building aspect. I spent most of my childhood playing either RTS or extremely heavy Puzzle RPG type games, so the confluence of Starcraft & Legend of Zelda N64 games shapes some of enjoyment for dungeon building & the order of the rooms. I regularly check out youtube to try and learn the most I can about various editions, as well as huge buff on SNES , NES & other vintage titles & films. I draw inspiration from a lot of older mediums. I grew up with graph paper and a loose understanding of the rules. I really prefer keeping playing engaged rather than rules and doledrum, I try to hash out most of the mechanic stuff as needed to a satisfying degree ofcourse. What I enjoy most about roleplaying tabletop is the variety of possibilities and coming up with new possibilities for players from various older editions. I've worldbuilt myself a campaign setting in a whacky prehistoric middle earth , I'm also running some 1E modules converted up to 5E for new players to experience older dungeons. there's a lot of things out there that nobody has revamped or revised. I think this game has a lot of wealth sitting under it's older franchises. My favorite old TSR game would be Star Frontiers, the whole system flew under the radar for me for many years until the mid of the pandemic, and now I've decided to jump back into tabletop gaming because of this title. It seems like some of the people online that I've shown it too have no aptitude for what it is or why anyone would want to pick up an older title for play. I"m saddened by that and hope that people will give it a 2nd look, because it was far ahead of it's time. I really enjoy the title personally and have been reading up on the rules for the whole game setting very recently, I've also made a personal version for 5e that can be learned in 20 pages or less.

GM Style

I use a Samson G Track Pro & Tascam TH200X to ensure I communicate the game properly, that being said there's always room for error in online play, so I've worked out a cable internet connection from my MESH router to ensure Discord & Roll20 can support even the largest of maps & GIF friendly play for my groups. I'm currently satisfied with my Audio/Live setup. Video can be streamed from my personal studio.
