About me

Greetings Travelers! Come -- share the fire and a tale with me. The night is dark, and full of terrors, but together we can keep the shadows at bay. I've been playing and running RPGs since I was 7 years old, and, over 30 years later, I keep falling in love with the hobby over again. From Epic to Slapstick, Serious, Scary, or Silly, I love when people come together to tell stories together. I have a special fondness for introducing new players to the hobby, but am happy to welcome all levels of experience. I've run a lot of different games over the years, and there's a special spot in my heart for espionage games, but fantasy and swashbuckling games keep pulling me back to the table again and again.

GM style

I believe in creating games where players feel safe to be themselves even as they're performing as their characters, and everyone gets time in the spotlight. I encourage improvisation and creative solutions, and for players to collaborate towards their own legendary accomplishments -- to be remembered in the tales of bards for years to come! As a game-runner, regardless of game, I strive to keep games moving at a fun pace, and to breathe life into the world -- where friends, antagonists, and factions are alive and adapting to the world. As the Heroes adventure, the ripples of their actions change the world in ways big and small.
