Welcome! I've been a Gamemaster and player since 1981, with a variety of systems ranging from D&D 3/3.5, and more recently 5th edition, as well as other systems like Pathfinder 1E, The One Ring, Lord of the Rings 5E, GURPS 3rd Edition, d20 Star Wars, Fate, Feng Shui, and several superhero games.

GM Style

Completely play by post adventures (play-by-post, play by text pbp) centered on YOU as the main character. Lots of roleplaying, NPCs, and a narrative weaved around you. Rules-light, you can use your own dice if you wish. No VTT or Roll20 needed, just Discord and your imagination. Some visual aids provided, and of course character creation assistance if needed. I run games fast and fun when it comes to combat. No virtual tabletop needed, we'll be experiencing a flowing, Theater of the Mind-style game. If you can use Discord, have a character idea (or a virtual or physical character sheet), you can play. Want to use your own physical dice? You can! Or any virtual dice roller online if you prefer. With these few items you are all set to play, and can leave most of the rules and crunching to me. My play by post games will be full of NPC interactions and an evolving narrative. I'll use my years of roleplaying and writing experience to weave the story around you. You'll face meaningful decisions, danger and drama. I intend to post at LEAST once a day in the game, more likely multiple times a day, especially in combat. However, players do not have to commit to quite so often, around once a day or every few days is acceptable.
