About me

Dad, History Teacher, Author, lazy DM and 5E Content Creator living in the UK. I started running D&D for my friends more than a decade ago, but more recently that simply wasn't enough and I began a Beginner's D&D group at my looking gaming cafe. For me, Dungeons and Dragons has provided a way to meet incredible people, build friendships and a community of people that I love. More than that however, it allows me to expand my reality beyond what I find immediately around me. Being a DM is about sharing a story of adventure, intrigue and wonder.

GM Style

I'm old school, so I like a happy balance of exploration, combat and roleplay. When it comes to combat however, expect my monsters to be lean, mean, bone-crunching machines that are out for your blood. I love roleplay, but I have only two, maybe three different voices, but my characters are still colourful, intriguing and engaging. For me, the most important NPC is the villain.

Really fun time with the group. The GM took the time to explain and describe everything and the adventure was original. Would recommand to anyone!

This was a superbly run session that combined RP, combat & puzzles in a well constructed one-shot scenario that could lead into a great campaign. The DM Ninetoes was instrumental in creating a positive, flexible and fun atmosphere in which we Players thrived. Highly recommended!

Great DM! The adventure he created by himself is a great one-shot and he keeps pace alive so the action keeps moving. Really nice descriptions. And he totally knows his way around Roll20 so the game flows just as naturally as if you were around a physical table. I will repeat for sure!
