Greetings! My name is Tyler, and I've been playing Dungeons and Dragons for almost 20 years. I've had the chance to run many one-shots and multi-year campaigns at my table for both new players and veterans. In all of my games, I have one goal in mind: to have a fun game for all. In my games, you can expect to share laughter at funny moments, tears at sad ones, and a sense of accomplishment as your characters grow and overcome unique challenges to attain their victories and goals.

How DM Tyler runs games
I prefer to run open-world, story-driven games with exciting combat encounters. There's never a right or wrong way to approach a problem, and your characters' actions help shape the world around them, for better or worse. I use standard 5e rules, with a few homebrew preferences that I hope make the game more fun. During role-play moments, I use voices, scenic backgrounds, and character art to set the tone and engage with the player characters. This helps me separate the "GM" voice that explains mechanical details, from what the characters actually say. For combat moments, I like to use battle maps and descriptive narration to explain how your heroes take on their foes.
