About me

My name is AJ and I've been playing D&D for over 20 years. I started hosting my own games and DMing to exercise my writing skills and to learn how to lead a team through a narrative misadventure. I'm extremely patient, very open and a big fan of collaborative story telling and improv. I enjoy teaching new players The Game and I enjoy long traveled players who know the ropes. I like to create my own world settings and stories, something like a Brennan Lee Mulligan style. I use my own stories, flair and preferences to create tailored world settings. I play in standard 5E and I'm very excited to meet new players and hopefully run a special game with a whole team of new friends! I have many worlds to choose from and many settings in different genres if you're looking for a truly tailored and narrative experience. So let's pick a genre and play a game!

GM Style

I'm a comedian and improv artist so I have a great love for the Role playing side of D&D. I use combat to push narrative and use every minute I can to keep the narrative tight and moving. my games will have a narrative conclusion to each story and journey, I'm always willing to return to characters or settings so a finished story is not the end of a world. I love new players. A lot of DM's struggle with new players but It's a challenge I love to face. My best description for how I play is a quote I love; "You tell me what you want to do and I'll tell you which dice will get you there." Brennan Lee Mulligan
