About me

When I was very young, I started writing stories in my journal. At the age of 13, I started writing a book that I would never finish. In high school I joined theatre, and there I learned improvisation, social, and acting skills. My aspirations as a writer who loved acting led people to suggest DMing D&D, and in 2016 I finally tried giving it a go. It wasn't until two years later, that I would actually get a group together and finally play after watching other people play for so long. I've been DMing for 3 years now, and have had an ongoing campaign for the past 2 years. In that time I've learned a few systems including D&D 5e, SW5e, Chronicles of Darkness and Cyberpunk: RED. I'm now confident in my skills as a GM and want to bring stories and joy to my players, whoever they may be.

GM Style

Big on roleplaying and acting as your character, I enjoy immersion and a rich mind bending story. I'm here for the plot and the acting more than the game, and it pays off in the narrative and character development. Combat is secondary to this, so if you're looking to optimize game mechanics, I'm not your guy. I enjoy running games that have heavy roleplay and investment in NPCs and plotlines, with combat sprinkled here and there, but not the focus of most of the game. Of course, for long-term campaigns, my style can shift in the favor or out of the favor of more or less encounters based on a number of changes in mood and interest. This being said, the players drive my games above all, and I try and run a game that everyone at the table can enjoy, with a balance of playstyles and constantly shifting spotlight.
