About Kevin Mathis
Welcome. I am a GM who has run games for 12+ years. I'm familiar with Pathfinder V1 and D&D 1st through 5th editions. I pride myself on open sandbox play. The player characters are the center of the story and your decisions drive the plot. I have some simple homebrew rules that make my world a bit unique (like luck points and minions). But in the end, the dice are the true gods. I entice you al to Try it and find out!

How Kevin Mathis runs games
I prefer open sandbox play. The players and characters drive the story. I always have plots and story going on behind the scenes as the world is living and breathing around the characters. I try to incoprorate character backstory into the plot to keep things grounded and I can adapt to the play style of the group. Hack and slash, roleplay, subterfuge, diplomacy, exploration, and more are all possible. I tend to prefer a combination of problem solving/combat/roleplaying so no single element is the focus. I have dedicated discord servers for the games I run and encourage players to reach out to me to discuss my playstyle and their gaming goals before and between sessions. I pride myself on being an open, patient, and accepting GM who colaborates with the players to help tell a story we can all enjoy.
