About Lhero
Hey guys! My name is Austin Hughes, and I’ve been playing DnD for a decade. I first started with 3.5 Edition, but having difficulty finding a group at that time I had to take a pause. In 2017 I met a group at Roll20 that I've been DMing for since then. I usually run difficult campaigns that are filled with strong narratives. I normally run Homebrew games in worlds I created, but can also run games based on existing universes, such as Legend of Zelda. I use Roll20 as a platform currently and am only interested in doing online DND at the moment. I'm a flexible DM who's willing to try new styles, open to constructive criticism and always try to improve my craft so I can entertain my players even more. I'm also open to constructive criticism. I always try to improve my craft as a DM, so I can entertain my players even more. Allow me to take you to distant worlds, or maybe the void of space. Wherever our imagination leads us! How Lhero runs games
As a GM, there are several things to touch upon. Firstly, most sessions I run have a huge focus on Roleplaying. My session CAN get erotic but once it becomes too sexual, I cut to black. I love it when my players stay in character and form bonds with each other or the NPC's I make. Second, combat in my games are on the harder side. I will tone down the difficulty for newer players, but once they have a few under their belts, I'll start throwing progressively harder encounters at them. I highly reward creative solutions in combat or in even Puzzles. Which leads me to my next point, Exploration. I try my best to give my players freedom to come up with creative solutions or to cleverly roleplay their way out of trouble or to progress the story. I even allow my players to turn the bad guy if they play their cards right! I'm a somewhat laid back GM, but I do have my limits. If you can explain what you want to do that makes sense to me, I will allow it. Otherwise, I enjoy people that really get invested into Roleplaying, and those that come up with smart ways to deal with encounters of any kind.
