About me

Hi there! I've been playing D&D 5e since 2016 and I started DMing very early on. It started out with me just having and idea then going on a YouTube binge for just about anything related to DMing I could find. I've always enjoyed throwing out plot hooks to my friends and seeing how they react to them and I live for those moments where my worlds and the players' characters come together to tell a truly unique story. Over my years playing and DMing, I've also acquired and played an amalgamation table top systems like Mutants and Masterminds, Marvel Multiverse Roleplaying Game, and Vampire the Masquerade.

GM Style

I thoroughly enjoy every aspect of table top gaming! However, many of the groups I've found myself DMing for have been more heavy on the roleplay aspect of the game. I try to curate my content for my players though! I don't put a lot of emphasis on super crunchy, tactical combat unless we want a battle map drawn out, at which point, I'm bound by the map and the rules. With that said, I tend towards somewhat smaller, theater of the mind combats. I don't do much with puzzles unless I'm running a module that calls for it, but if that's something that you enjoy, pleas let me know! I'll be happy to devise some puzzles for you! I also thoroughly enjoy introducing my players to new, mysterious locations where small parts of the history of the world can be found. And as for the overall style of the game, I try to run a more sandbox/open world kind of game. I try my absolute best not to lock players into one quest line or plot hook, but I do have a tendency to latch onto the first thing you show interest in and I'll run with it. If I'm running a module, I do approach things a little differently. I try to really get a feel for the characters that will be adventuring in the module and from there I try to generate plot hooks that will have them follow the main threads of the adventure. That's not to say that you still can't go off and do your own thing.
