G'day all! I'm Ryan (sometimes known by my gaming handle, Sly9), and welcome to my profile. I'm a gamer, cinematographer, and experienced storyteller. I enjoy crafting epic adventures and creating amazing worlds for fellow gamers to play in! I've spent nearly my entire gaming lifetime, starting more than 17 years ago, as a Storyteller (ST)...that's a Dungeon Master (DM) for those of you that are used to d20 systems. As I got started in gaming, I quickly realized that RPGs share many of the features of other creative pursuits that I enjoy. So, it felt natural to pick up the mantle of ST. Since then I've been honing my skills of sculpting characters, crafting worlds, and cooking up engaging narrative arcs. Beyond the joys of all that creative work, I've also been lucky in finding some of the coolest people I've ever come to know. Gaming truly is a special medium that brings together people who want to have a good time and escape into vast wonders of imagination! Switching gears a little bit, here's a brief overview of the games I run...I'm really big into Exalted from White Wolf/OPP. So if you ever are looking for a game in that, I'm likely to be keen from the get-go! However, it isn't the ONLY system that I will play. I've listed some of the systems I've run games in or that I want to try out, in the "Game Systems" section. Keep in mind it isn't all-inclusive, and there may be titles not listed that I'd like to game in or would consider gaming in if they are brought to my attention. GM Style

My style? Oof...that's a tough one. I'm motivated and dedicated to my games, and I hope each and every player that joins a session will bring the same level of interest, commitment, and enthusiasm for creating awesome shared tales, to the game table. I've got a few main goals for every game that I run. However, one of the most quintessential goals is to set the stage for the players so that we can create our own epic saga! Personally, I enjoy more roleplay, as opposed to roll-play, but that shouldn't deter you if want a more tactical experience. I'm equally adept at delivering customized experiences that will cater to the players in the group. All I ask in return is that since I get so invested in the games I run, it really makes the gaming experience that much better to have players who are just as interested. I want everyone to enjoy their time spent at the table, real or digital. Lastly, a quick shout out to those of you out there that might be new to a system, or to RPGing in general. Feel free to message me or to strike up a conversation on Discord. No matter your level of experience, I'd like to introduce you (or your group) to the wonderful experience of gaming. That is regardless of setting, theme, or genre. I've got you covered...If you are into Sci-fi, Fantasy, Horror, Intrigue, Adventure, Exploration, Crafting, or anything else in between, I can build it and we can game in it! Typical game sessions are run on Discord and Foundry VTT. I can do both Play-by-Post (PbP) style as well as Voice Chat (VC).
