In 1983 my friend introduced me to a game that I feel in love with on that pimple faced, socially awkward encounter! I have been playing and running DnD campaigns since (not 100% of the time mind you, but as often and a much as possible). I grew up in the TSR world and stayed with that version until about a year abo when I walked out of my comfort zone and decided to give 5e a try. I run both pre-written campaigns, homebrews, and combinations of both. I do not stick to the script, so top speak, and often infuse my won creations into pre-written adventures. I am pro player, but hold players to a realistic fantasy level (i.e. you cant have super Half-Orc walking around almost unstoppable ). I also consider myself a teaching DM and strive to help players with experience dive further into the game and help those that are novices continue to grow. I run one-shots (3-4 hours), mini campaigns (2-3 sessions) and full blown campaigns (6+ months). Please feel free to ask any questions.

GM Style

Roleplay is awesome!. I do my limited acting best to make each NPC as individual as possible, and I do the same for the more intelligent monsters. For me, the best games are the ones where what I have planned to have happen that session (i.e. the target location or objection or battle) may not occur because lots of little adventures are happening within the main. I try to make the campaign appealing to all classes so that every player feels like an equal member to the party. For those who like to play the "hack-n-slash games, I am probably not your style of DM.
