Have played with this DM for several years, out of our friend group he was voted best DM for multiple reasons. Chief among those reasons for me was his adaptability to absurd requests and choices made by players some DM's would simply pacify and breadcrumb back to intended story. Not this guy, he'll take your idea and double down on it amplifying the parties initial interest. Honestly i don't know how he does it, the man is charisma incarnate, with the sole goal of his players having a good time. That is why when he runs for president he's got my vote,

He is a wealth of imagination and is 2nd to none when it comes to creating engaging NPCs to enhance the story. His ability to adjust the mission to what the party brings to the table is amazing. Hes willing to let the partys creativity drive the story.

Matt is a great guy, with a wonderful sense of humor and charm to boot. I've gotten to be around this guy and his work for quite some time, and between this man's expertise in creativity and his dedication to the craft, he is a must-have for any players wanting to feel immersed while also having a wonderful time playing everybody's favorite Role-Playing Game. Have him as your DM. You won't regret it, guaranteed.

Burwell is one of the great story tellers of our time. (Saying it now before he gets too well known!) This man was made to help tell stories and build worlds. As a GM Burwell is fun, quick on his feet, and passionate about DND. He learns about each persons character to develop a meaningful arc and continue to build on their story and the session/campaign as a whole. Whether you are brand new to the game or a seasoned DND vet, you will enjoy Burwell's easy wit and well thought-out stories.

This guy right here has the unique ability to tie in multiple backstories into a singular campaign and somehow make them all connect to the main story. I've been in a lot of his games. He lets you do what you want without it breaking the game. He's able to cater to all player styles to ensure everyone is having a good time. 10/10 would recommend.

Worldbuilding and storytelling are two of Matt's greatest strengths. Every single bit of your backstory is beautifully woven into the narrative threads. Could not ask for a better DM. He honestly spends so much time worldbuilding when he's not running games, it's almost frightening. 10/10.
