About me

Hello everyone and welcome! I have arrived here seeking to tell tales of wonder and adventure, to discover and uncover, and (Most importantly) to enjoy a few hours of epic and hilarious Dungeons and Dragons. I began playing D&D when I was only 8 years old, having been lucky enough to be taught by my father, who he himself had been playing since the first edition of the game. Though I started in AD&D, 3rd and 3.5 edition, I have continued on to 5th. After playing as a player for a few years in my young life, I chose to take on the mantle of DM at the age of 11, and have been gladly taking on such a role for 16 years. I have created homebrew worlds, DMed modules of all kinds (From Dungeon Crawl Classics to epic and diverse tales such Tomb of Annihilation), one-shots, and multi-year campaigns. I have played with others of varying skill, from beginners to veterans, and have spent much of my free time developing my story-telling skills. Today, I host many games (Both online and in person) and I am seeking to meet new people and create even more fantastic memories. I have also played other systems, such as Call of Cthulhu, The One Ring, Star Wars, Warhammer Fantasy Roleplaying, and a bit of Shadowrun, but have always fallen back on D&D. Thank you for taking the time to read this introduction, and I hope to see you at the (Virtual) table! May the dice roll ever in your favor!

GM Style

As far as my GMing Style, I enjoy a wide range of game types and usually like to be adaptable to which playstyle the player's are looking for. I have experience in running the following game types: 1) Heavy Intrigue / Roleplaying 2) Mass Combat 3) Heavy Puzzle-solving 4) Dungeoncrawls 5) City-based adventures 6) Overland Travel 7) Sea adventures 8) Ship Battles 9) Chase Scenes 10) Hexcrawling 11) Modules Personally, I enjoy running games that tend to have a mix of the above list. I have run straight adventures with one or two of these styles, but I find that adventures will multiple aspects are generally the most enjoyable.

Was a pretty fun game, DM Nick really set the scene and brought the world to life better than most DM's I've run with. Nick was one of the best DM's I had the pleasure to play a game of D&D with and he use the new Kobold Press Black Flag rule really well.

I wrote a big comment and lost it. I've played 3 campaigns(one in Zycore - his created world, one play of Decent to Avernus, and now a Grim Dark one) with Nik. He's fair and fun, but doesn't put up with BS and knows how to keep a table together. He's good at adjusting to play styles and includes social and combat in each session. He has vast knowledge of rules extending to aftermarket and UA material. If you're serious and fun you won't be disappointed.

Their creativity inspires creativity in their players, and they work very hard to make a collaborative environment.

Knows how to bring the story to life by great story telling and the use of music. Keeps the party entertained and engaged. Allows players to try just about anything. I would recommend this DM. Can’t wait to play some more.

If you love great storytelling and world immersion this is the person for you. I love the detailed history each of their worlds have and the liveliness that the worlds give off. They also embody each and every npc that you meet allowing for natural connections to form even though they are of fantasy. I am always excited for the next session and never know what shenanigans other players, the npc's and I will get into next. The GM is also flexable with characters and allows player creativity to thrive, just need to discuss it with the GM to make sure things fit with the story. 11/10 would recommend.

He keeps the flow of the game moving without feeling like we are being rushed.
