About me
Greetings! I'm Dr. Boom a DM and RPG-er with over 20 years of experience. I truly believe that D&D 5e is the best iteration of the game and I attempt to provide balance over the three pillars of exploration, combat and social interaction. One of my greatest joys is bringing new players into the game, and watching my players form new friendships and connections.

Played a one-shot with Boom this weekend and loved it. He ran a tight ship and there were a lot of people who wanted that mic. He painted a great and clever picture of his scenario and ran it really well. Pace was excellent and the encounters were a blast (both social and combat). I look forward to playing with him again soon. I bet he would run an amazing campaign too!

I only played a one shot but it felt like beong part of something bigger, which is qute a feat for one-shots. He sounded a bit like "I will restrict things at start" but the opposite is true, he supports creativity.

I have gamed with Dr. Boom for over 2 years. I started with zero D&D 5e experience, and he helped me learn the rules without judgment for my (many) mistakes. He's consistent about starting and ending games on time. He knows the rules well, and is adaptable on the fly to whatever your character wants to try. He's likeable company and runs a fun game.
