Hey you! Yes you! I can see that you are glancing at my profile. Hold it! Please take the time to read what I have to say, I hope it will be worth your while. People refer to me as Nicklaus, but just call me Nick for short. I got my start in D&D with 5th Edition, and have been hooked ever since. Most of the campaigns I've played or am currently playing involve me being the Dungeon Master, but I do have some experience as a player too! Since then, I have taken on the role of Dungeon Master for 5 campaigns, and played in another 2 campaigns. I have run multiple one shots as well and have a good amount of experience in that regard. I have ran for multiple age groups, ranging from high school to working adults. In terms of rules, I am typically focused more on the rule of cool. I'm do not enforce misruling, although I do prefer to play mostly by the official D&D rules. I try to keep all the rules inside my head but I do not claim to be infallible by any stretch of the imagination. In terms of what you can expect from me when I run a game for you, I will ensure that I will do my best to ensure that everyone at the table has fun. I have no problems with getting into character, watching others role-play out moments, nor do I have any issues with running tactical combat. I will modify the type of game I run to the age range that I run for and what the players enjoy, but my strengths lie in letting the players feel like powerful heroes. GM style

If I were to describe my GM style, it would be a middle ground between role-play and tactics. I have no issues in talking in voices and goofing around role-playing certain moments, however, I am no trained actor by any means. Therefore, if you are looking at me thinking if I am the next Matt Mercer, I am sorry to disappoint. Regardless of this, I do not expect my players to be good role-players and if you are uncomfortable talking in character or making silly voices, I am more than willing to accommodate for you and ensuring that your comfort and fun still remain my absolute priority. Combat wise, I will not run my games like a Warhammer 40K game where the slightest oversight is punished and scrutinized. However, I do expect that my players approach combat in a more tactical way as I will be making large use of battle maps and grids. If this scares you, do not worry, I will tailor combat to the experience level and desired experience of each individual party.
