About me

I have been a lifelong gamer and enjoyer of the storytelling art. I got my start in roleplaying with 1st edition AD&D when I was in the 5th grade. I don't think we played more than once or twice at the time, but I loved it. My love for the hobby skyrocketed in middle school. This was the mid 80s, the era of the satanic scare. My friends and I would play at lunch, not caring if others saw or understood. And we proudly grew to become the most crowded table at lunch. :) The passion continued through high school and beyond. In addition to the later editions of D&D my interests expanded to other gaming systems, from GURPS to Shadowrun to Cyberpunk, Marvel, Champions, and a host of others. My friends and I would have marathon sessions lasting days and weeks and summers, and had many long-running campaigns that are now fond memories. I say all this because now, at almost half a century old, my passion for the hobby has never died. I would love to run some games for you.

I switch up my style depending on the needs and wants of the party. I like all aspects of the game, but especially combat. :)
