About Mark Obeldobel
I am a game designer and developer who enjoys running TTRPG's of a customized system that's very new-player friendly, and easy to hop into. Although they don't exactly fit into any existing system perfectly, these games are heavily inspired by D&D and a roughly-Renaissance high-fantasy world. It is fueled off of collaboration between the players and the Game Master. We all know how tough it is to try and decide which spell or ability to pick next from the massive list of thousands of spells and abilities out there for your next level-up. So why not cut out that unnecessary search and get right to the meat of what kind of spell or ability you'd like to use? That's the magic of the way I run games--I will collaborate with you to play the character you want to play the way you want to play it, and I can do the balancing necessary to make sure your awesome new ability isn't far too strong for our level. I appreciate math and user-experience design, which I believe combines nicely into an enjoyable experience overall.

My style tends to involve major pillars of TTRPG's, including a good mixture of roleplaying, travel experience, and combat. The game is heavily theater-of-the-mind, and I look for opportunities to allow players to interact amongst each other. I will set up expectations prior to the game.
