About me

Welcome, fellow adventurers! My name is Bayne (yes, really; no, my parents weren’t fans of Batman), and I am an avid lover of all game media, but especially TTRPGs. I’ve been a player since my wee single digit years, and more seriously a storyteller and dungeon master since 2002. I specialize in Dungeons & Dragons for the most part, specifically 3.5 and 5e. I’m familiar with running other systems such as World of Darkness and Starfinder, and have even been known to just grab a single d20 and run one-shots with only that as my weapon. I am a lover of political storytelling and combat alike, and have played at tables with players and other storytellers from all walks of life and play-styles, to include DM’ing tables at state-wide conventions where I have always been in the top 3 for placing, and have taken 2nd and 1st prize. While most of my D&D games will be set in my own world, Calminda, each and every campaign is a different perspective and place in the universe. Whether you’re a player who is all about action and beating the snot out of monsters, or a charismatic talker who most enjoys word play with challenging NPC’s, I’ve got a place and campaign or one-shot you will enjoy. I take into consideration each and every player at my table and integrate their strengths and weaknesses, both as PC’s and as the people behind the character. I never want anyone to feel left out or as if there was no place in my game for them to shine. I’m flexible in ideas for characters and problem-solving within the game, and will always reward a player for thinking outside of the box (there’s no “rocks fall, you all die” at my table). No matter what type of gaming experience you’re looking for, Calminda has a story waiting for you.
