Good Day gentle reader! well... you're looking at this because you're wondering if I can give you the game you want or I've put something up and the blurb looks good. so without further ado let me introduce myself: My name is Nick I'm in my early 40's and I live in Ireland. I've been gaming since my 20's when a friend introduced me to wargames. I like all kinds of games - wargames, board games card games, LARPing and of course RPGs. I've played myriad systems and I've been a GM for: D&D 5th Ed Fantasy AGE Dragon AGE Mazes and Minotaurs Shadow run 3rd Edition Savage Worlds Star Trek Adventures Scion I've learned Shadow run 4th edition but never had the opportunity to run it. Ive run all these systems for my friends and they havent left my table for pastures new so I guess I must be doing it right. I truly believe that everyone should be welcome at the gaming table. That's why every one is welcome at my table. I want to create a safe space for you all to come and be who you want to be. I want you to be immersed but that's not the most important thing to me. The most important thing to me is that you have a good time. I want to tell great stories or rather I want you to tell me great stories. I want to chronicle your adventures; as your GM I'm your Chronicler and your fan. I want to see what crazy awesome thing you do next! After all I can show you the Path but you have to walk it. When you do your story is born! And it is your story more than it is mine or even ours. I've run one shots (modules) at Gaelcon and Warpcon, two Irish Games conventions and they were very well received by the players who participated. So: Who do you want to be today?

GM style

I am a narrative focused GM. I will choose the narrative over the rules most of the time (if however, I feel that would be deeply unfair I'll go with the rules - no one likes to be treated unfairly) Because I want you to have fun I encourage levity and humour at my table. (Puns are welcome if they make me laugh!!) Humour for me is an indication that my players are enjoying themselves. I tend to like High fantasy but I believe there is a place for gritty swords and sandals style play. I hope you are immersed and I will do my best to see that you are but it isn't as important to me as everyone having a great time. Because its important to me that everyone has a great time I don't allow player verses player combat (PvP). PvP can be really fun but it can turn toxic very very fast. I've seen it happen. As a safety measure I'll also use the x card system so that if we run into something that makes you uncomfortable you can let me know and we can move on quickly. We don't always know when we will be triggered after all. I run Theatre of the Mind and I don't tend to track minutia. Because people imagine things differently there can be misunderstandings, these I usually resolve in the players favour. you are the Hero's after all Or the villans - it's up to you!
