About me

Hey there! I've been playing Dungeons and Dragons since a friend brought it out at a sleepover in 7th grade, giving me close to 20 years with experience. In college I discovered other tabletop games, and thus the rabbit hole of pen-and-paper claimed another victim. As an actor, roleplaying is what I do everyday, and getting to play everyday for work is... well, it's nice. I love GMing for new players, and playing with veterans of TTRPGs. I've only GM'd around 10 games, but that's because they were all years long campaigns. My personal group rotates GM's from campaign to campaign, but rest assured I know exactly what I'm doing (the typical GM answer, might I add). I've played D&D (3.5, 4e, 5e), Shadows of the Demon Lord, and Numenara. I have access to even more TTRPGs, and am always willing to learn a new system. I'm a believer that roleplay should be at the core of every game, with a group of people coming together to tell an awesome story they'll remember for a long, long time. I've written my own campaigns, run pre-made modules, and done a little bit of mixing of both (sometimes the Lawful Good paladin makes a boo-boo and you need to invent a redemption quest line so they can wield the macguffin!). I believe a good DM/GM works with the party to make a session amazing, but keeps enough control to instill suspense and surprise. A TPK isn't my goal ever, but sometimes actions have consequences...
