About me

With 16 years of running games, and 5 years of running games publicly, I feel that this is the natural next step for me as a DM! Being able to reach out to people, find commonality in our love of a fantastic setting, and working with one another to create the most enjoyable game for us, has been a pleasure of mine as long as I've been gaming with others! I've studied and majored in Social Sciences and Psychology. I am a highly functioning person of the ASD. I've lived a hard life, but now wish to sit down, have a good time, and try to conjure the feeling of Jim Henson's The Storyteller, but understand we all want to have a good time and dont need to be serious 100% of the time. As long as my players are having fun, I file that a success in my book. I usually end sessions with a group discussion; what did you like, what didn't sit well with you, and how can we make the game better? I reward Bonus Dice for participation in the conversation to entice Role-play and conversation, (A d6 from a community pool you can draw from to add to attacks/saves/damage/etc), while having me learn to read my group and how I can improve on the game for my players, (not enough atmosphere? inter-party conflict? combat too long? Not enough combat?).
