About me

Hello everyone! My name is Eric, and I've been a tabletop gamer for the last five years. I've always loved telling stories ever since I was kid and now that I've gotten older I feel excited having discovered the medium of TTRPG's to have the chance to tell them with other cool people online. My focus as a DM is on player fun and ensuring that every player gets the chance to affect the narrative in fun and interesting ways. A little about me, I am a recent college graduate with a bachelor's degree in Drama. I really enjoy getting to create characters for others to interact with and hope the players enjoy them. Also if some players prefer a more combat session and less roleplay focus I am also extremely comfortable crafting an experience for that as well. I only ask that all the players at the table be respectful to each other and to show up at the agreed upon time. I hope to see you soon!

GM Style

I usually tend towards a 50/50 split when it comes to DMing. 50% character and narrative roleplay and the other 50% is some form of combat whether that is actual combat or some form of skill challenge. I think a good Dnd session has both of these in it. Although I usually adapt to what my players find more interesting. If players prefer the narrative rather than combat I’ll try to adjust it to something like an 80 roleplay /20 combat split or vice versa depending on the players and what they want out of the game. The other important factor for me as a DM is a believable world. I try to create characters and worlds that reasonably react to the players actions which then create more problems for the player characters to deal with.
