About the adventure

Welcome Adventures to the Sword Coast where the peaceful lands and seas are being attacked. Small towns have been raided and attacked by groups of bandits throughout the Sword Coast. It seems that the dark forces that have slept through this time of peace have finally awaken. Now many dark creatures and evil societies are coming into the light and reaking havic on innocent people. You find yourself in the southern reaches of the Sword Coast in the small town of Greenest. It's a quiet farming village with a helpful hand around every corner. Though the talk of the town is all about the raids and abduction happening all over the country. This is where our adventure begins. This campaign is a long term game lasting from levels 1-15 and maybe more. This game follows the Tyranny of Dragons module with your character backstory elements thrown in to make the game unique.

How to prepare

🧙‍♂️ You will need a Discord and D&D Beyond account as this is where we will be playing. 🎙️ Players need a microphone and a quiet place to play. 🎥 Webcams are optional but encouraged. 🎲 Dice and character sheets will be digital, all through D&D Beyond. - Also, if you own physical dice I allow players to use those as well. 📖 The rules are very simple and will be provided, so no purchase is needed. 💻 You will need a browser to open Owlbear Rodeo, but no downloads necessary.

Gameplay details

0️⃣ We will go over rules and safety tools in Session Zero, and I am happy to accommodate your needs! ◦ First we will discuss character creation and backstory. ◦ Then go over the things you will need to prepare for the campaign. ◦ Finally we set expectations for the open door policy as well as breaks. 📞 I will check in with players regularly, and can be reached out of sessions. 🚫 Disrespectful, hurtful, hateful speech or behavior is zero tolerance 🧝 As an actor I favor Roleplay encounters so if you enjoy that you will have fun. 🐲 You will face a wide range of different enemies in combat, and a lot of Dragons 💀 This is a dangerous module, character death is a possibility.

How will character creation work

When you decide to join, think of a character concept and message me the idea. We will have a session 0 to talk about backstory that might connect to this campaign. I will send you a link for D&D Beyond to join this campaign with your character and we will make your level 1 characters.

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
• If you don't have a blast with your first game, your next game is on us.
