About the adventure

The mighty adventure combines the two previous titles (Hoard of the Dragon Queen and The Rise of Tiamat) into one campaign, taking players from level 1 all the way to level 16+ as they contend against the Cult of the Dragons plans to bring their queen Tiamat to the Forgotten Realms. WRITEUP for "Hoard of the Dragon Queen" In an audacious bid for power the Cult of the Dragon, along with its dragon allies and the Red Wizards of Thay, seek to bring Tiamat from her prison in the Nine Hells to Faerun. To this end, they are sweeping from town to town, laying waste to all those who oppose them and gathering a hoard of riches for their dread queen. The threat of annihilation has become so dire that groups as disparate as the Harpers and Zhentarim are banding together in the fight against the cult. Never before has the need for heroes been so desperate. WRITEUP for "The Rise of Tiamat" The Cult of the Dragon leads the charge in an unholy crusade to bring Tiamat back to the Realms, and the situation grows more perilous for good people with each passing moment. The battle becomes increasingly political as opportunities to gather allies and gain advantage present themselves. From Waterdeep to the Sea of Moving Ice to Thay, it is a race against Evil. Succeed or succumb to the oppression of draconic tyranny. Win or lose, things will never be the same again. This is the Tyranny of Dragons modules put together with the original missing content for additional leveling and immersion.

How to prepare

Webcams and mikes are not needed, but are preferred so we can see faces, hear inflections and catch hints or misspoken secrets. BAsic rule structure is nice and can be obtained here ( https://www.dndbeyond.com/sources/basic-rules ) and ( https://www.dndbeyond.com/sources/sac/sage-advice-compendium ) IRL dice can be provided but as we will meet pre-session at a game store you will want your own pretty click-clack math rocks. Virtual session will have dice included as part of the VirtualTableTop. DDbeyond will be used for interactive sheets.

What I provide

Dice will be available. While I can't draw myself, I do try to provide little things to make the game more than normal. IRL games in the past have had tokens and figurines made to keep. Virtual games will get better quality visuals and sound effects. I plan to use the officially licensed sound and foley effects for Dungeons & Dragons. This is a serious application of applied content for your gaming dollar.

Gameplay details

As Standard, we will be using Session Zer0 Lines and veils discussions as well as X-Card and ?RYG Flower card setups. There is not a lot of offline planning but scheming can exist. We will be doing some exploration and some world travel so good boots are needed for your character. It wouldn't be a dangerous adventure endeavor without the risk of battle and there may be breath-weapon antagonists in a game with "Dragons" in the title and pictures. This game does have a content warning about cults, scary religions, extreme threats, random teleportations, and worst of all...necromancers who do that black magic number.

How will character creation work

We will start at Level 1, created in the Session Zer0 on the Discord chat so the players can meet and greet.

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
• If you don't have a blast with your first game, your next game is on us.
