About the adventure

The Immortal Principality of Ustalav is falling apart. As the Lodge of Vampyres became the new ruling body of the Principality, Prince Aduard Ordranti IV disappears soon after his coronation, and werewolves and undead terrorize the lands - it is up to a group of heroes to rise up and protect the innocents. Do you think you're brave enough to heed the call? This level 1-20 Pathfinder 2e adventure is an homage to all things spooky, mysterious, and grim. Inspired by stories like Castlevania, Dracula, Beast of Gevaudan, and various Eastern European folklore, this adventure is meant to be on a bit more serious side, with a strong emphasis on horror and the dark side of the supernatural. This game is open to players with all levels of experience - if you have never played Pathfinder before, or any TTRPGs even, I encourage you to join! I will go over all the mechanics and nuances of the system, and explain everything you need to make this the most fun an experience it could possibly be. The story told in this campaign is going to be entirely homebrewed and crafted just for you and your team. If you want your backstory to be explored in the greater scope of things, for your choices to matter and tell a one of a kind story, this is the game for you!

How to prepare

Our Session 0 will cover the following: 1. Introductions 2. Safety tools 3. Adventure overview 4. House rules 5. Character creation Potential players should be aware that this adventure involves themes of corruption, violence, death and undeath, vampirism, and politics which are unavoidable. If any of these give you pause, this may not be the adventure for you. Real world bigotry or bullying will not be tolerated at my table or in my server.

How will character creation work

🎃 If this is your first time playing in a Pathfinder 2e game, please feel free to reach out to me via Message with any questions you might have about gameplay or the campaign. In that same vein, don’t hesitate to reach out if you have questions concerning a character you might already have in mind! Character creation guidelines: 🔹 Make a level 1 PC using either the default or variant Ability Boost system. 🔹 Select your PC's starting equipment for your class (any published class and class variant/path is allowed.) 🔹 All non-rare Ancestries and Heritages are allowed. 🔹 Any alignment is allowed, but your PC must be able to play nice and work with the party. Lone wolves, murderhobos, or troublemakers will not be tolerated. 🔹 Free Archetype + Ancestry Paragon Building a character in advance: 🔹 If you'd like to build your character in advance, please use PathBuilder 2e's web interface or app to do so and share the link with me! (https://pathbuilder2e.com/) 🔸 I would advise that you build your character as someone who is fresh to adventuring, with not a lot of travel or combat under their belt. This ensures that your character will have a chance to grow organically with the adventure and the other party members.

Players can expect
