About the adventure

Can you still be the guardian angel of Night City when all you save are devils? Welcome to the Cyberpunk Red system. For those new to the system, it is a love letter to Bladerunner, Ghost in the Shell, and Neuromancer. Allows for unique storytelling within a dystopian futuristic environment that lets you play out your cyberpunk fantasies. The themes of the system focus around urban and moral decay, high-tech/low-life, and authoritarian capitalism. Our story will be built around a Trauma Team unit and their experience with saving those who have paid for their service. You are invited to express your passion and creativity for the cyberpunk genre to weave a story never before told.

How to prepare

Those not familiar with the system are encouraged to venture into the world wide web to learn what you can but are never required to do so. Next, you should prep your means of communication beforehand to ensure you are ready to hit the ground running. Lastly, bathe yourself in the vibes and themes you are excited to explore in this game. Get hyped, you will be glad you did.

What I provide

You and your unit will take center stage in a player driven narrative in an engaging and atmospheric virtual playground. You will be presented a multisensory aesthetic experience that will provide the vibes and creative juices to let your imagination take flight. This will also be a progressive and story forward environment. While choices matter, they result in interesting encounters and entertaining outcomes.

Gameplay details

Focusing on a theme leads to exciting and comprehensive gameplay. Your game will be centered around a vibe that we as a group agreed on. During your session zero we will lay out what troupes and topics we want to elevate and what we want to avoid within that overall theme. If we run across something during play that makes you feel uncomfortable there will be multiple ways to express that change focus. This gathering doesn't work unless we all feel like engaging with the art of storytelling. After each session we will always do a quick check in if you are still having fun. It allows a consistent window for you to voice any concerns or praise on how the story is being told.

How will character creation work

Before we drive into the story you will collaborate with your group to form adventures that are tied to the world set before you. They will both anchors of the theme and topic you will interact with as well as the primary agents of change and progression. These will be the characters told at campfires to come. What kind of story being told is up to you.
