About the adventure

Every eight years marks the time when the Witchlight carnival comes from lands of the fey to entertain the realm. Led by the mysterious Mister Witch and the ever jolly Mister Light, they bring marvels that would normally be unseen by mortal eyes. However, you are no strangers to such marvels...or the horrors that lurk behind the sweet facade of the fey. For many years ago, you all went to the Witchlight carnival and lost an integral part of yourselves to the mysteries of the carnival. Now that the Witchlight Carnival has come back to town, you have all banded together to once again enter the twinkling lights and sights of the Witchlight Carnival to reclaim these essential parts of yourselves. However, more is at stake than what you have lost, and many more will lose much more of themselves if the darkness behind the Carnival is not thwarted...

How to prepare

We will be meeting online using microphones and video cameras on a discord channel so players are expected to know my homebrew rules (provided in the discord server), know how to play 5e (or at the very least want to learn), and be expected to roleplay and participate to the best of their ability. We will be playing on roll20 so players are expected to have an account.

What I provide

I will bring the maps, stats, voice acting, and campaign plan on roll 20.

Gameplay details

Players can expect a whimsical ride through a fey inspired carnival, a wonderous adventure where in you are expected to talk as well as fight, and lots of roleplaying and dream logic.

How will character creation work

Characters will start at the 1st level. Character creation and concepts will be discussed and done according to a one on one basis with the DM online before the first session.

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
• If you don't have a blast with your first game, your next game is on us.
