"The Tower out of Time" A Dungeon Crawl Classics adventure

About the adventure

"From out of the past comes an ancient evil to plague the present! A mystifying tower crowned by a blinding blood-red light has appeared in the forest, arriving as a never-before-seen comet burns in the sky above. Is its arrival a harbinger of terrible times ahead? Only those heroes brave enough to confront what lurks behind the inexplicable walls of the Pharos of Scales can solve the mystery of the tower’s puzzling arrival!" This is a intro game for Dungeon Crawl Classics. Players will be able to pick and play from pre-generated so we can jump right into the adventure and experience the style and mechanics of the DCC RPG.

How to prepare

Please have access to Zoom (which is free), a mic, and a webcam, video is absolutely not mandatory but I prefer to be able to see my players faces when I run games. If you have physical polyhedral dice that'll be great but if not we'll also use the Roll Funky Dice site.

Gameplay details

Gameplay will be Theater of the mind. Tower out of time is a fairly straight forward adventure. I listed "Combat" as High, but that's to reflect that there are quite a few encounters and not to say there's heavy focus on hex counting.

How will character creation work

Character PDFs will be pre-generated. There will be overlapping Classes so don't worry if you had a class you wanted to checkout and someone else picked one.

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
• If you don't have a blast with your first game, your next game is on us.
