In this classic module, maintain a stronghold and recruit mercenaries to aid in your endeavors. Engage in broader negotiations with- or wage war against - the denizens of the Caverns of Chaos, and protect the kingdoms guarded by your keep. Sharpen your swords and axes. Purchase your iron rations and tinderboxes. And don’t forget at least one 10-foot pole. In this Campaign, you'll: 🏰 Manage and Upgrade your Stronghold 🧑🏿‍🤝‍🧑🏻 Interact with Dynamic NPCs; each with backstories, intrigue, and secrets! ✨ Adventure from levels 1 thru 5! ⚔️ Battle Undead, Fiends, and Monstrosities! 🪤 Disarm deadly traps and use your wits to survive! 🪄 Recover lost artefacts 📚 Access additional races (Tiefling, Dragonborn, and Warforged) to the AD&D Table!

How to prepare

Players will need an account (free or paid, but free is sufficient) on: - Roll20.net for maps. -Discord, to communicate with the other players and the GMs before and after the session; as well as for Voice (Video is optional) Take time to read through the rulebook and your character's abilities and features is highly recommended for optimized play time.

What I provide

- Battlemaps, bad puns, and an array of sound effects. - 16 years of DM'ing experience! - Original NPCs and Side Quests added to the story based on character choices! If you prefer creating your character via Pen & Paper, and join with at least 48 hours until Gametime, I'm more than happy to convert your character sheet directly into Roll20.

Gameplay details

This adventure will be played via Roll20, with Discord for Voice. CW: Death, Risk of Capture and Imprisonment, Claustrophobia, Risk of Character Death, Undead. This is a PG-13 rated adventure. As a safety, I will have Safety Cards available to anonymously Drop on the Map at any point. If a player is uncomfortable with the content for any reason (including phobias, PTSD, and/or many more), Drag and Drop it into the map at any time for a safety pause!

How will character creation work

During Session 0, we will all build characters! You are more than welcome to come with a character plan and idea in mind, and I will have the Rulebooks available for anyone who wishes to read ahead! Goals for Session 0: * Character Creation review - We'll go through the Character Creation Steps together; I know some folks will go full excitement and prepped ahead of time, but this is just a good chance to make sure everyone has their choices solidified (and it's a chance to change anything up before we begin gameplay). * Safety Talk - I'll explain the uses and functions of our Safety Cards, Additionally, we can discuss Lines & Veils, Hard Limits, and anything else we want to bring up to keep everyone safe at the table! * Establish the Party - Confirm party roles, starting equipment, etc. - Confirm and discuss connections between characters (This is a fun exercise I that I picked up in Monster of the Week, and it's a good chance to get some preemptive character relations started) * Roll some dice! We'll get the dice rolling and characters in use with any remaining time!!!

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
• If you don't have a blast with your first game, your next game is on us.
