The Lustral War: Swiftlight (Homebrew)

About the adventure

The world of Gilesrien is at war. The continents of Yotress and Flaebrush clash as the Lizardfolk of Flaebrush oppress and kidnap their citizens, even sacrificing them to their deities. The Lustral War has taken a dramatic toll on the global community and many have stepped in to defend innocent lizardfolk, gnolls, and catfolk living under tyrranical Lizardfolk rule in Northern Flaebrush. The Swiftlight Guardians of Yotress, a diverse group of heroes living within the Human Kingdoms, have been called to action and you, a new member of Swiftlight, find yourself amidst the action. Each session is a self-contained one-shot adventure. However, each unique one-shot will contribute toward a greater story arc, similar to the structure of Pathfinder Society Organized Play.

How to prepare

Please have a mic and headset and please be prepared to join my discord server! Webcams are encouraged during gameplay within your comfort level, but they are not required. Please also create a Forge account at https://forge-vtt.com/ - Foundry, hosted through Forge, will provide our virtual dice and an opportunity to import your Pathbuilder character sheet. Foundry is our virtual tabletop that includes most everything you need to play the game. You are also more than welcome to use your own physical dice as we play instead of Foundry's virtual dice. Please be prepared to send me an image of your character as well. https://www.heroforge.com/ is a great site to create a custom character. You can send me the share link once you've finished designing the character and I can use that link to create a token.

Gameplay details

Each one-shot, unique and playable on its own, also contributes to a greater plot set in the final year of the Lustral War on Gilesrien! A Lines & Veils form is available within my discord server in order for you to share any triggers or content warnings. Please note: The provided content warnings here on StartPlaying span the entirety of what might occur throughout any of the one-shots under this story arc, not necessarily what will happen in one session. If you have specific content warnings that do appear on this list, but still want to play, please fill out the Lines & Veils document after you join. I'll be sure to keep an eye on the form a couple days before each game and adjust however necessary, or as a last resort, let you know that a trigger you've acknowledged might show up in your session and you might consider rescheduling for a future one-shot.

How will character creation work

Please create a level 1 Pathfinder 2E character. If need be, I'm available to help you create your character. I also recommend Pathbuilder 2E as a great character creation resource. We will level this character up as we complete adventures throughout the final year of the Lustral War!

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
• If you don't have a blast with your first game, your next game is on us.
