The Heavy Metal Queen

About the adventure

Crew the Heavy Metal Queen as you voyage the stars, taking work from the various denizens of the Sol system and beyond. Equipped with your hauler/carrier class vessel and a shuttle, you and your crew will take on various jobs that will pit you against pirates, corporate factions, and even whole colonies. This is inspired by MechWarrior, Mass Effect, Star Wars and Star Trek. I plan to lead a very open playstyle, with downtime activities to help you progress story elements of your choosing! The way you and your crew decide to play will help tune the campaign to your interests!

How to prepare

Please come prepared with a microphone, and an idea of what class you might be, as well as access to a digital Starfinder Character sheet either directly through Paizo or through a service like Mythweavers, which has a template. A Discord and Roll20 account is needed to play, as we will be doing a hybrid of these platforms to play, depending upon the scenario we face.

What I provide

I will bring digital maps, images for associated ships and items, and homebrewed sessions for the characters to play. I will have battlemaps ready in roll20 for players to utilize in sessions where maps are used.

Gameplay details

I will be creating a publicly available lines and veils document that we will create during Session 0. Since this campaign is beginner friendly, we will do character creation in Session 0, as well as set expectations for the campaign. X, N, and O cards will be explained in session 0, with reminders when needed, and will be verbal cues in the game. The last 5 minutes of the session will be debriefing for me to improve or shift content as needed.

How will character creation work

Characters will start at level 5, created using a digital character sheet or character creator. They will be built during the session 0. We will have a short session after creation to settle into the characters and establish the narrative.

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
• If you don't have a blast with your first game, your next game is on us.
