✨What is this?!!✨ 🛣️ The Green Knight is narrative-driven game where your choices and relationships matter! 🎥 It was released by A24 to go alongside the film "The Green Knight," but no knowledge of Arthurian myth or the fim is required. 🗡️ Honor is everything! A single stat dictates difficulty class, hit points, and your social standing! ✨Logistics and Included Services!✨ 🪓 Immersive play with hand drawn maps and soundscapes. 🗣️ A head-shot sketch of your character comes with play. 🔊 Audio recordings of safer play and lore material for accessibility. 📱 Discord voice play! ✨Ok... I'm Intrigued... Hit Me With That Sweet Flavor Text✨ It is Christmas Eve in Camelot. As King Arthur and his knights feast at the round table, you have come to Midnight Mass. So has a man of the forest, clad from head to toe in foliage and steel. This strange visitor inquires if five folks are brave enough to meet him in a wager. Each of you has found yourself in a bargain with the Green Knight, bound to meet him at Green Chapel one year hence. The Green Man's Gambit will be a 3-session chronicle and session 0 exploring honor, interpersonal relationships and the nature of our debts. The Green Knight system emphasizes moral choices and working with and against archetypes. We will also be reviewing the rules and world during our session 0 and the game is designed for people new to the system! Ideal players should enjoy atmosphere, narrative, and RP.

How to prepare
You will need to bring a twenty sided die or be comfortable using a die-roller in my discord. You will need a microphone that connects to your computer and having a webcam is preferred. We will reviews the rules and I will give you PDFs of the character sheets to print out (you will need a printer or to have a way to draw on the PDF). You will need a discord account.
What I provide
I will bring digital maps, draw a digital head shot of your character, a quick sheet guide of the rules, character sheets, and my two slightly different regional accents (ha!).
Gameplay details
The game will be exploring and critiquing the erasure of pagan religions in the setting. You will need a discord account, microphone, and camera. Video calling his not required but preferred.

How will character creation work
We will all create characters together during the session 0 meeting in discord. The character's relationships and family will be mapped together. We will also discuss what types of themes and questions relate to each character.
