About the adventure

Using a Mix of Beyond the Witchlight and Homebrew using a Dark Fantasy Setting. The traveling extravaganza known as the Witchlight Carnival visits your world once every eight years. You have an odd memory of being in the Carnvival when you were younger. That memory has grown foggy over time, though it still conjures a weird admixture of emotions—wonder and awe mixed with loss and regret. During this childhood visit, your character lost something very important and wants to get it back. What are you willing to do to get this lost item back?

How to prepare

Webcam is if you use custom characters sheets not used by D&D beyond or if you want to run it for fun. A basic understanding of the rules is useful but not required. You also need a D&D Beyond account. You don't need an account for Owlbear rodeo. You need artwork of your character after character creation and a token for it. If you don't know how to make custom tokens I can make one for you.

Owlbear Rodeo displays of maps and artwork, ambient music (and any music request) (If any Bards want to work with me on musical ideas, can discuss it. I do play guitar and would love to implement it) Milestone rewards (Digital rewards such Custom Character cards, and printouts. Downtime Activities (For players who want to learn more about the lore and seek more rewards.)

How will character creation work

Character creation will be created before Session 0 using Milestone leveling. We can schedule a time to work on this. Players will start at Lvl 3 using D&D Beyond. If you have a master beyond subscription then you can choose a homebrew character. I will send link for a discord group where you will roll for stats using a bot. You can also create a homebrew character using other custom sheets, but if that is the case you will need a video camera to show your rolls. (I can provide links to custom sheets and give tips on any homebrew ideas you might have.)

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
• If you don't have a blast with your first game, your next game is on us.
