About the adventure

The game of Starfall takes place in the Holy Lazarenth Empire. A world where magic has fallen firmly into the realm of superstition. Witch Hunts and Mystics dwindling into a thing of the past. Leaps in invention made firearms and steam propelled servants a reality. Great ships carry people between unknown continents. The future appears bright and even the necessity for the absolute grasp of the empire is fading in this time of peace and prosperity. Peace and prosperity come at a price. And the once great Empire is drowning in civil unrest and stratification of the rich and the poor. The Emperor himself is no more than a figure head, a mask for a bloated and corrupt bureaucracy that truly rules the Empire. Raging progress and bureaucratic stagnation. Starving poverty and unrivaled opulence. That is the Empire. Coming apart at the seams. Then the Stars Fall. And the world of mundane reason is turned upside down. Once impotent rituals of charlatans and street magicians produce actual magic, astounding and terrifying. Phony fortune tellers are gripped by seizures predicting terrible futures and some unfortunate find themselves touched by the magic of the havens developing abilities that no one ever even dreamed of…

How to prepare

Please get some art and a token if you can for a character. And it would be great if people could make it on time, have a decent microphone and be loaded into foundry on time.

How will character creation work

Characters will be created in session 0, you will pitch me an idea in discord private messages, send me the art, discuss background etc. But we will figure out mechanics, roll stats during session 0.

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
• If you don't have a blast with your first game, your next game is on us.
