How to prepare

Players need a mic and a Discord account to play. Battlemaps and dice rolls are executed in the Foundry VTT, so a personal computer with the Google Chrome browser (and a stable internet connection) is recommended. D&D Beyond is the preferred tool for character management, but I can also work with form-fillable PDFs. If you're joining after the campaign has begun, we'll make time for a brief onboarding call where we'll go over safety tools, server setup, and character building.

What I provide

On D&D Beyond, I have the Spelljammer sourcebooks and content sharing enabled. Anyone joining my campaign will have access to everything they need for character creation. All dice rolls, handouts, and maps are distributed in the Foundry VTT. Any maps that I made under creative commons are available for download upon request. I also have custom music playlists I use for different scenarios.

Gameplay details

A typical session will begin with everyone logging into discord, joining a group call, and signing in to the Foundry VTT. Once everyone is on board, I recap the previous session, answer any additional questions, and then we jump into the action! Each session includes at least one 10 minute break, as needed. My DM style focuses on tight pacing, plenty of roleplay, and one or two combat encounters per session.

How will character creation work

I recommend coming in with a character concept, and we will build characters in D&D Beyond before your first session. We're starting the campaign at level 5, and I'm available to help with character creation over chat (and I love collaborating on backstories!) Any homebrewed of UA material must be approved by me beforehand, otherwise there are no restrictions on character creation!

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
• If you don't have a blast with your first game, your next game is on us.
