How to prepare

Webcam is nice but only a mic is required. Most prep will be done together at session 0 or session 1 if there is overflow but there shouldn't be. Do try to have a character concept: personality, what you want them to do in/out of combat, a certain background, bond, ideals, or flaws. You don't need it all but the more you have in mind the smoother character creation will go.

What I provide

We will be using Owlbear Rodeo as our VTT since it is simple and beginner friendly, we can discuss moving it later or at session zero (I also like Foundry). I will have tokens for everyone's characters either generated or taken from images you send me. I play with a rules-flexible approach, meaning I will try to find a way to make cool things work within the rules.

Gameplay details

Session Zero will be intended to head off any concerns ahead of the game, we will go over the lines and veils document together and I will explain the use of X, N, and O cards. Session Zero will also be used to create characters together and get to know them

How will character creation work

Character Creation can be done solo if you are confident but will be covered in session 0. Otherwise, just follow the rules in the Player's Handbook and Tasha's if you have it, it's not required. We will fix any mistakes or make any changes you want at session 0. I would like you to show up with a character concept if you can. See Prep.
